Markets

Where P1 operates, and how local knowledge is verified

P1 currently operates in Colorado, serving Denver and the Front Range; Aspen and Snowmass; and Vail, Beaver Creek, and Summit County. Every driver is based in the market they drive and knows its private aviation terminals, residences, hotels, seasonal traffic, and alternate routes before the trip begins.

Three Colorado markets, built on established local operations

P1’s first markets are in Colorado, where Summit Executive Transportation and Aspen Security operate today, so the vehicles, the permits, and years of local knowledge are already in place. Select a market below to see its airports, the areas it covers, typical trips, and approximate drive times on common routes.

Denver and the Front Range

Denver · Centennial · Boulder

The Denver market covers corporate travel across the metro area and private aviation at Centennial and Rocky Mountain Metropolitan, and it is where most transfers to the mountains begin.

Approximate drive times

Drive times are one way and assume good conditions; season, weather, and traffic can add time. The Movement Brief for each trip includes the estimate for that day.

Local knowledge

Each driver’s local knowledge is recorded and verified, area by area

Every P1 driver has a familiarity record for their market and for each named area within it, such as Cherry Hills Village, Red Mountain, or Beaver Creek. The P1 compliance team verifies each record through interviews, checkrides, and the driver’s history of completed trips, and the record determines which drivers can be assigned to your trip.

  1. 01

    Primary

This is the driver's home area, where routes, entrances, and timing are known from daily work.

    Ranked first by familiarity

  2. 02

    Approved

The driver's knowledge of the area has been verified through interviews, checkrides, and completed trips.

    Ranked next, by scorecard

  3. 03

    Requires advance

The driver knows the region but not yet every detail of this particular area.

Assigned only after a Movement Review

  4. 04

    Not approved

The area is outside the driver's verified knowledge of the market.

Not assigned to trips in the area

Familiarity levels are recorded separately for each market and each named area. A driver moves up a level only after a record of successful trips in the area and sign-off from the operations team.

A Movement Review before a driver works a less familiar area

When any stop on a trip falls in an area rated “requires advance” for the assigned driver, the vehicle device holds the trip until the driver completes a Movement Review. The review covers 6 items: the pickup entrance, destination access, the primary route, an alternate route, parking and staging, and the FBO procedure. Each item must be confirmed before the vehicle can be marked ready.

How drivers are assigned, in order of preference
  1. 01The traveler's preferred drivers in the market, when they are available
  2. 02Drivers who have served your account before and earned strong ratings
  3. 03Drivers with primary familiarity for every stop on the trip
  4. 04Drivers with approved familiarity, ranked by scorecard and then by proximity
  5. 05Drivers at the “requires advance” level for the area, only after a completed Movement Review and, for complex trips, with an on-site ground manager

If a preferred driver is unavailable, the Movement Brief tells you before the trip.

Opening a market

The readiness standard every new market must meet

Every new market must meet the same readiness standard before P1 accepts its first client trip there. The standard covers local providers, drivers, vehicles, a jurisdiction review, local procedures, and a supervised test trip, and until every item is in place, the market stays on the planned list below.

  1. 01
    2At
    least

    Certified providers

Each provider is a local operator certified to the P1 standard, so coverage in the market never depends on a single company.

  2. 02
    4At
    least

    Certified drivers

The drivers hold primary or approved familiarity across the market's named areas.

  3. 03
    3At
    least

    Certified vehicles

Each vehicle carries the standard equipment, the Principal Kit, and a managed vehicle device.

  4. 04

    Jurisdiction review

Licensing, permits, and the rules on armed capability are reviewed and approved for the market.

  5. 05

    FBOs and named areas

Every FBO and named area in the market is documented with its fees, entrances, and procedures.

  6. 06

    Supervised test trip

One complete trip is run under the supervision of the operations center before the first client trip.

Markets open one at a time, and only once every item above is in place.
